The Central Asian Industrial Week exhibition forum is the largest multi-industry international project in Uzbekistan.
Central Asian Industrial Week is held on the basis of the joint interests of interdependent industrial sectors. It is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate and promote the latest industrial equipment, technology and technological innovations, enabling the exchange of expertise by manufacturers from Uzbekistan and abroad.
For the first time in 2012, Central Asian Industrial Week will bring together 8 specialised exhibitions, each of which will act as a central platform for a specific industry sector:

• Machinery Central Asia – Metallurgy, engineering and automation
• UzComak – Road building and municipal machinery and equipment

What is the relevance of Central Asian Industrial Week?
Uzbekistan’s economy is developing at an impressive rate and has almost remained unaffected by the global financial and economic crisis. Based on 2011 results, IMF experts predict that Uzbekistan’s economy will grow to 8.3%. The IMF anticipates that Uzbekistan will retain its stability in international economic activity, and the expected increase in the cost of raw materials, which form the basis of Uzbekistan’s exports, will secure the flow of foreign investment directly into the country’s economy.
The Government of Uzbekistan is investing approximately $30.075 billion into industrial development. This was provided for in a decree from the President of Uzbekistan, on the basis of which the programme of priorities for the development of industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2011-2015 wa
