Metalcasting Congress 2012

The largest annual event for the metalcasting industry is heading back to Columbus, Ohio, April 17-20, 2012. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Columbus hotel. Combining an exhibition of industry suppliers with technical, management and research presentations from the foremost experts around the world, this year’s 116th event showcases the latest advancements in metalcasting. The exhibition is expected to draw more than 200 metalcasting industry suppliers. The Congress is expected to provide more than 100 technical presentations covering all facets of metalcasting from shop-floor production to management tactics to the latest research advancements.

Cast in North America returns to the exhibition this year, giving metalcasters an area of the exhibition to showcase their capabilities to their customers—buyers and designers. To complement this segment of the exhibition, a buyer and designer education track will be part of the Congress with presentations on casting design and sourcing, quality, rapid prototyping, simulation and metalcasting basics.
