Ministry of Oil & Gas and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan to lead high ranking Turkmen oil and gas delegation to Asia in 2011 to further promote international cooperation and investment in the development of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas resources.
Bairamgeldy Nedirov, Minister of Oil & Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan will lead a delegation of the very highest level representing Turkmenistan’s Oil & Gas Complex including National Oil & Gas Companies TurkmenOil, TurkmenGas, TurkmenGeology, TurkmenChemistry, TurkmenOil&GasConstruction, TurkmenRefineries and the State Agency for the Management & Use of Hydrocarbon Resources Under the President of Turkmenistan, to Asia in March 2011.
The Turkmenistan Asia Oil & Gas Congress will take place in the Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore. 3 – 4 March 2011.
In visiting foreign investors the oil and gas delegation from Turkmenistan will give the international community a better insight into the wealth of investment opportunities in Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector, to both reinforce and establish new business relationships between Turkmenistan and other countries, to demonstrate that Turkmenistan is a country open for international dialogue in the implementation of new oil and gas projects, and to strengthen Turkmenistan’s image in the international arena as a stable and long term partner.
Many oil and gas companies from Asia are successfully operating in Turkmenistan including well known names such as Petronas, CNPC, LG and Hyundai. With this official visit the Government of Turkmenistan hopes that investment from Asia into the country’s oil and gas sector will increase significantly in the years to come.
The Ministry of Oil & Gas and Mineral Resources has appointed Summit Trade Events Ltd, UK, to act as official co organisers of these conferences.
