ALISE Annual Conference 2012

One of the ALISE Board’s first responsibilities for 2011 was to complete a thorough review of management services, and to decide on an option that would offer excellent support while also remaining cost-effective to the Association. We are pleased to announce that that we have finalized and approved another three-year contract with the Medical Library Association that will ensure continuity of core services, while also supporting strategic new directions.

We are likewise delighted that Kathleen Combs will continue as ALISE Executive Director for 2011-2014. Our thanks to members of ALISE who provided input to the management services review, and contributed to bringing the process to a successful conclusion. We look forward to continuing our very positive association with Carla Funk, Executive Director of MLA, and Kathleen over the next three years.
