This workshop will inform about the sustainability requirements of the EU market (RED);
inform about the role and use of certification schemes in the EU RED implementation;
create awareness for the benefits of sustainable production, raise the awareness and interest of farmers by providing case studies from certified producers;
create awareness for the international trend towards sustainable supply chain management in the agricultural sector and its implications for Ukrainian producers;
focus on particular challenges encountered in certification and how they can be solved: Land use and land registration.
