This 1.5 day intensive course is designed for experienced industry professionals involved in handling bunker disputes and claims. As a sequel to Conference Connection’s Annual Bunkering Disputes Module 1 course, the Advanced Module 2 course is designed to:-
• Provide an in-depth study of issues leading to disputes that occur and unconventional strategies for the avoidance and handling of claims
• Delve deeper into complicated dispute issues, focusing on quality and off-specification paramaters
• Examine contentious topics and atypical methods for seeking solutions such as DNA and forensic testing for ISO specifications causing problems, MARPOL specifications,low sulphur fuels and engine problems, viscosity problems, testing of high temperature waxes and the accuracy of mass metering and calibration requirements
• Provide an in-depth study of issues leading to disputes that occur and unconventional strategies for the avoidance and handling of claims
