19 March, 2015    ニューヨーク NY , 米国
An evening of cocktails and conversation on how sustainable design is a catalyst for startup and enterprise collaboration.

Established businesses need to adapt to benefit from the disruptive power of startups and entrepreneurs. As resources become scarce, opportunities emerge from disparate sources - crowds, individuals, even living systems (like the human body). The currency of success is no longer just dollars and cents - it is information, and the conscious design of the pathways through which innovation delivers value. Start-ups may intuitively recognize the importance of design but for corporations, design could be the difference between survival and obsolescence. Breaking out of old paradigms and connecting innovators with institutions is the challenge today's trailblazers must solve. dMASS is facilitating the conversations that will enable start-ups and corporations to develop a common language and a shared understanding of how to create and deliver the most value for a sustainable society. The Minedwell Trailblazers event on March 19th, 2015 will feature:

1. Cheryl Heller on "Why Social Design is Good For Growing Business."

2. Julia Gilroy from Body Labs on "The Next Gen Design Platform: You."

3. A representative from Merck innovation outreach group on the role of enterprise in collaborating with early-stage start-ups.
