Lillehei Symposium: Cardiovascular Care for Primary Practitioners 2013

This two-day symposium is designed to serve the cardiovascular educational needs of all clinicians who care for patients with diseases of the heart and blood vessels. The symposium will feature state-of-the-art lectures by experts in the areas of coronary and structural heart disease, heart failure, renal denervation for resistant hypertension, atrial fibrillation, cardiac imaging, lipid management, cardiac arrhythmias, syncopes, the care of the cardiovascular patient with comorbid conditions (including diabetes) and cancer, resuscitation innovations, and more.

To impart knowledge in the practical management of patients with a variety of cardiac diseases and to enhance interactive learning, the course design will incorporate case discussions facilitated through use of an Audience Response System (ARS).
