Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC) 2012

This year, Hotel Ezra Cornell will focus on the hospitality industry as a focal point for concepts of globalization to take root. Within the evolving global marketplace, hospitality plays a critical role in how ideas are transferred, economies are shared, and cultures are reinvented. During the weekend, we will explore how hospitality companies need to consider the implications of the global context in which they operate. This diverse program highlights the increasingly global hospitality industry while providing a unique and memorable experience for all of our guests.

Hotel Ezra Cornell is an annual weekend-long educational conference put on by the students of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration for leaders of the hospitality industry. Comprised of educational seminars, leisure activities, and food and beverage events, the weekend strikes a thoughtful balance between education and entertainment. The purpose of the weekend is for students to practice the skills they have learned in the classroom and to showcase their talents to industry professionals.
