INTERMEBEL - International Furniture Exhibition 2010

Intermebel International Exhibition is a major furniture project contributing to the development of home furniture market, strengthening of relations between producers, trade organizations and customers of furniture production, which without doubt permits to increase furniture quality and competitiveness. 

The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the largest commercial and industrial centers, a stably developing region of Russia.

Based on residential accommodation and trade grounds per capita Kazan city holds the leading position in the Russian Federation. Newly built dwellings, opening of trade centers and institutions undoubtedly contribute to the increase of demand for furniture production.

In the republic measures are taken for the further development of furniture and woodworking industries, set active the program for the development of the timber industry complex.

More than 500 middle and small enterprises of Tatarstan are busy with manufacture of furniture and production of woodworking. Today, under considerable progress in Russian furniture industry, 50% of furniture is imported. Therefore the problem of stimulation of domestic furniture in home market remains actual. Intermebel Exhibition plays an important role here, demonstrating achievements of the world’s furniture industry, contributing to development and establishment of Russian furniture enterprises.
