The Arizona Council of the Blind is a nonprofit IRS exempt organization made up of blind, visually impaired, and sighted Arizonans, with a broad diversity of occupations and professions. Primary focus is on blindness-related issues - especially on dealing effectively with the challenges of daily living, whether a person be a child or adult, regardless of the cause of sight impairment. Members enthusiastically support furtherance of the organization and the mission to:
Provide a forum for the free exchange of opinions, ideas and information relating to matters of concern to the blind and visually impaired.
Elevate the social, cultural, and economic level of blind and visually impaired persons.
Improve education and rehabilitation programs and facilities.
