April 22 - 23, 2010    Beijing , China
2010 Global Automotive Symposium, with a theme of China and World Automobile Market in the Next Decade: Innovation, Green Vehicles and Global Competition, will be held on April 22-23 at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang right before Auto China 2010 (April 23-May 2), the year’s largest auto show in China.
Preparations for GAS 2010 are now under full-swing. CBU/CAR is in the process of inviting key automotive executives from leading foreign and Chinese automakers and suppliers, including global automotive CEOs, to become distinguished speakers. For updates on invited and confirmed speakers, please visit http://www.chinaautoreview.com/conference/Speakers.aspx?id=34.

GAS 2010 was conceived based on the fact that 2010 will be a milestone for China’s automobile industry. It will be the beginning of the second decade of the new century and follows upon 2009, a year in which China became the world’s largest manufacturing country of new light vehicles. 2010 will also usher in a true consumer rather than institutional automobile market in China as well as a new decade of intensified global competition and unprecedented domestic consolidation.
