Course Details

• Obtain a targeted review of emergency department specific uses of ultrasound with lectures and skill stations focused on practical protocols for your emergency department
• Acquire a basic understanding of the physics and instrumentation of ultrasound
• Receive more than eight hours of hands-on scanning of live models which enhances technical proficiency and psychomotor skills
• Registrants receive The Handbook of Ultrasound in Trauma and Critical Illness by Drs. Bob Jones and Michael Blaivas and copies of the course PowerPoint presentations
