April 7 - 10, 2011    Chennai , India
TAGMA organised the 1st Diemould India International Exhibition (DMI) 1998 in Mumbai, a focused exhibition of the India Tooling Industry, which was successful thus laying the foundation of the series of the subsequent biennial Die Mould Exhibitions.

With a modest beginning then, and with the consistent support from the members and the industry DMI has today steadily grown to become the largest 'DIEMOULD Exhibition' spread over an area of 20000 sqmtrs with international participation from over 25 countries.

Based on data and feedback from exhibitors, the venue of the 5th DMI was changed from Mumbai to Chennai in 2006 and then the 6th DMI at Bangalore in 2008. The last 7th DMI was held in Mumbai in March 2010 was most successful, inspite of the downturn in the economy.

TAGMA Executive Council (EC) unanimously decided to brand the present series of the Biennial DIEMOULD Exhibition held in even years at a permanent location. The tooling industry is spread all over India and after due deliberations the EC decided Mumbai as the ideal permanent location. Mumbai being the financial capital of India and geographically located in the center, with best connectivity both national and international by air, sea, road and rail a very important benefit for exhibitor logistics. Hence, the 8th DMI 2010 is decided to be held from April 19-22, 2012 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai
