The 90th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Optometry will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Student Travel Fellowships
The Academy will provide a number of travel fellowships of $750 to students and residents to attend this year's meeting. These fellowships are awarded based on accomplishments and potential in optometric research and education. Only applicants with an accepted abstract to Academy 2012 Phoenix will be considered for a student travel fellowship. Other criteria used by the reviewers include the applicant's one page statement, the faculty evaluation, and the quality of the abstract. Each individual may only be the recipient for one travel fellowship per meeting. Applications are only accepted online and are due August 6, 2012.
